z21 Ventures has announced the first close of its $40 million Fund II, with $20 million from anchor investor WestBridge Capital. This follows the full deployment of z21’s $5 million Fund I, which supported 26 startups by June 2024.
Fund II will focus on pre-seed and seed-stage investments in disruptive technology sectors such as artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and healthcare. z21 Ventures emphasizes a community-first approach, enabling founders to accelerate growth through mentorship from industry experts.
Co-founded by Raj Singh and Abhinav Shashank in 2022, z21 Ventures specializes in early-stage tech investments. Partners Jyotika Gupta and Sudarshan Ravi Jha will continue driving this mission forward.
WestBridge Capital, a US-India investment firm with $7 billion in assets, supports both private and public companies. Its portfolio includes Innovaccer, PhysicsWallah, Indigo Airlines, and more.
